About Bill

Bill Harvey has been an active supporter member of the Alberta Liberal Party for more than 20 years.

Bill was a Calgary Campaign Co-Ordinator for Laurence Decore's leadership campaign in 1988. Bill first ran for the party in the constituency of Calgary East in 2004 and again in 2008 where he increased the Liberal vote and came second to the Alberta Progressive Conservative Party candidate. Bill has fought hard for our party in the Tory stronghold of Calgary.

Bill Harvey was formerly the Vice President of Security life, a successful financial services company and is currently serving as Branch Manager for the Investment Planning Counsel.

Bill has also been heavily involved in his local community as the President of the Taradale Community Association, coaching minor hockey for six years and volunteering at the St.Thomas More Parish and member of the Knights of Columbus.

He currently resides in Calgary with his wife Marie and they have two adult children and one Grandson.
